English Mass in Assisi

Join us for English Mass in the Basilica of Saint Francis. During the winter, Mass is celebrated weekly in Cappella Frate Leone, one of the chapels inside the Sacro Convento of the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi.

This Sunday marks the Third Sunday of Advent. Beginning the Church’s liturgical year, Advent (from, “ad-venire” in Latin or “to come to”) is the season encompassing the four Sundays (and weekdays) leading up to the celebration of Christmas. Read more about the Advent Season.
