English Mass at the Tomb of Saint Francis of Assisi

Holy Mass is celebrated in English monthly in the tomb of Saint Francis of Assisi. Join us this month for the Memorial of Saint Bonaventure, Bishop and Doctor of the Church.
Saint Bonaventure was one of the leading theologians of the 13th century who, through his numerous theological works and his governance of the Franciscan order, elaborated Franciscan spirituality by living it for himself and then systemizing a useful doctrine for friars and for the entire Christian world.
About the English ministry in Assisi
The Papal Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi and the Papal Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels in Assisi offer Mass in English on Sundays and Solemnities. The Basilica of St. Francis also hosts monthly Masses at the Tomb of St. Francis.
