English Mass at the Tomb of Saint Francis of Assisi

Holy Mass is celebrated in English monthly in the tomb of Saint Francis of Assisi. Join us this month for the Memorial of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary.
Lauded by Pope Benedict XVI as a “model for those in authority”, St. Elizabeth embraced St. Francis’ ideals of charity and poverty, devoting her life to service of the poor and sick. She is a patroness of the Third Order of St. Francis.

The Papal Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi and the Papal Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels in Assisi offer Mass in English on Sundays and Solemnities. The Basilica of St. Francis also hosts monthly Masses at the Tomb of St. Francis.
