Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord commemorating the visit of the archangel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary, delivering the wonderful news that she would be the mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the son of God.

During the winter, Mass is celebrated in Cappella Frate Leone, one of the chapels inside the Sacro Convento of the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi.
